He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Barr and Virginia Grossi Barr; and his sister Florence Altomari. He is survived by: his wife Deneen Hall Barr; his children, Anita Barr of Lawrence and Anthony 'T. C.'; his daughter-in-law Carol Barr of Elizabeth Twp; and his granddaughter Jennifer Barr Herrington (David) of Elizabeth Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marion Presbyterian Church.
