She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelaide L. Neil and Sylvester G. Ackerman; her husband David Howard Keefe; and her brother Samuel Ackerman. She is survived by: her pet Howie; her children, David C. Keefe (Sarah Steiner) of Pittsburgh and Jennifer Smith (Jeffrey) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Ian and Ava.
