He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald K. Spalding and Mary Spalding (Cassandra). He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth W. Spalding of Roseto, Laura A. Smith of Bethlehem, Jeff L. Spalding (Lisa) of Sanford, FL, Patricia E. Dinunzi (Rob) of Pen Argyl, Anne L. Pellegrino of Orlando, FL, Christine E. Nicholas (Scott) of Bangor and Anthony J. Spalding (Melissa) of Douglasville. He is also survived by nine nephews and a niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Lookout Fire Co. #1, 44 W. Bell Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley, 30 S. 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
