He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Anna Barkett George; his son-in-law Rick Zacour; and his siblings, Noma, Moses George, Josephine George and Thelma Zeheb.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia "Sis" Abbas; his children, Alex George Jr. (Darlene), Patricia G. Zacour of Washington, Ronna George of Scott Twp and Sharon Kelley (Kurt) of Murrysville, PA.; his grandchildren, Anson Zacour, Lindsey Moorman (Ryan) and Alana George; and his great grandchild Adeline Cecelia Moorman.
