He was predeceased by: his father Walter D. Poleski; and his sister-in-law Kristy F. Luisi. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Poleski (Rush) of Washington Township; his wife Kim P. Poleski (Luisi); his children, Adam Poleski (April Andreozzi) of Washington Township and Alyssa Poleski of Washington Township; his sister Melanie Safranyos (Jim) of Leechburg; his father-in-law Frank Luisi (Patricia) of Washington Township; and his nieces, Laci and Madison.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Steven's memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Carnegie, PA 15106.
