He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hepler and Florence Hepler (Troup); his wife Betty J. Hepler (Jasper); and his brothers, William, Harry and Donald Hepler.
He is survived by: his sons, David Hepler (Candy) of Spring Church and Richard "Rick" Hepler, Jr. (Addie) of Nunda, NY; his grandchildren, Marcie, Autumn, Richard III, Gregory and Douglas; and his sister Linda Zydonik (Stanley) of Vandergrift. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
