He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tumas and Catherine Tumas (Yasavicz); his wife Dorothy A. Tumas (Sokolovich); and his siblings, Casmir Tumas, John Tumas, Frank Tumas, Edward Tumas, Anne Sasso, Helen O'Malley, Ruth Trauterman, Virginia Corrigan and Elizabeth Tumas.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsay, Erin, Carrie Bielek (Brian) of Allegheny Township, Ed Tumas (Jennifer) of Vandergrift, Jim Tumas (Tina Longreen) of Carlisle and Greg Tumas (Barb) of Beaver Falls; his grandchildren, Lindsay Bielek (Jason Schall) of Columbus, OH, Erin Tumas (Evan Hileman) of Vandergrift, Zachary Tumas (Michal Urrea) of Arizona, J. P and Breanna Tumas of Beaver Falls; and his sisters, Katherine Barainyak of Springdale and Marge Hager of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
