He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R. Shirey and Louise Shirey (Miles); and his brothers, Richard and Robert Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Shirey (Rosensteel); his son Matthew J. Shirey of Washington Township; his siblings, Lorinda Davis (Randy) of Bell Township and Ronald M. Shirey (Fran) of Sarver; and his sister-in-law Norma Shirey of Lower Burrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
