Kenneth D. Shearer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 82, Kenneth D. Shearer of Washington Township, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth D. Shearer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd M. Shearer and Marion Shearer (Smail); his wife Barbara Shearer (Shaeffer); and his siblings, Wayne Shearer and Lucy Banks.
He is survived by: his daughter Leasa A. Peck (James) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Owen and Molly Peck of Irwin; and his siblings, Paul Shearer (Nancy) of Moweaqua, IL and Frances Reigel of Carlisle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken's memory to the Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Ave., Suite #1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 3033 Wilson Blvd., Suite #300, Arlington, VA 22201.
