He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bentz and Virginia Bentz (Graham). He is survived by: his sister Vickie L. Knox of Washington, PA; and his nieces, Angela Laurine (Brent) and Kristen Robinson (Ray). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Salvation Army, 1910 River Road, North Apollo, PA 15673 or to the Vandergrift Meals on Wheels, 167 Lincoln St. Vandergrift, PA 15690.
