She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin McFarland and Thelma McFarland (Cowan); her husband Harold "Hal" Gordon; her children, Karen Rowan and Michael Gordon; and her siblings, Phyllis Salisbury and Benjamin McFarland.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Intrieri (Samuel) of Vandergrift, Kathy Cairns (Douglas) of Oklahoma Borough, Christine Clark (Joseph) of Washington Township and Diane Peterson (Greg) of Home; and her grandchildren, Ursula Rosenberry, Kristen Smith (Dan), Joseph Intrieri (Jessica), Jennifer Long (Joshua), Joseph Clark (Lianna), Alexandra Clark, Jessica Szalankiewicz, Tyler Szalankiewicz, Justin Rowan (Missy) and Nicole Rowan.
