Helen Viola Held Obituary
Helen Viola Held, 81, of Washington Township, formerly of Leechburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Quality Life Services of Apollo.
A daughter of the late Ernest Frederick Held and Thelma Marie (Riggle) Held, she was born May 5, 1943 in Hyde Park, PA.
Survivors include her brothers, David S. Held of Raleigh, NC, John G. Held of Woodbridge, VA, James L. Held of Providence, RI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Held; and sisters, Lillian G. Schenk and Dorothy M. Held.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, with the Rev. James V. Arter III officiating. Private interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Allegheny Township.
