He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Long and Elsie Long (Cosby). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Long (McKown); his children, Edward Long (Amy) of Orchard Hills and Becky Conner (Michael) of Washington Township; his grandchildren, Josh Long (Debbie Goldberg), Jenna Schultz (Pete) and Ty Conner; his brother Austin M. Long (Becky) of Monroe, MI; and his close friend Kenny Prahl. He is also survived by many other brothers, a sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elmer's memory to the Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center, 5324 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
