With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Barbara DePetris of Washington Township, Pennsylvania, born in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Though Elizabeth Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael Znanec; her sister Amelia Ann; and her daughter Julie. She is survived by: her mother Anna Katherine Barliak; her spouse Nichola "Nick" DePetris; her son Michael; her grandson Jason (Megan); and her great grandchild Juliet. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
