She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott J. Shaffer and Margaret Shaffer (Ritter); her husband Raymond L. Baer; her son Jerry Baer; and her siblings, Cecil J. Shaffer, Dorothy Evers, William "Buster" Shaffer (Ruth), Edwin Shaffer, Elliott Shaffer Jr., Joanne Bollinger and Ray Shaffer.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel R. Baer (Diana) of Washington Township, Richard K. "Dick" Baer (Carol) of Fountain Valley and Mary J. Bortz (Bob) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Daniel Baer Jr., Jolena Brocious (Mark), Misty Baer (Rich Whiting), Kelly Wilkerson (Brandon), Tawny Baer (John Trowbridge), Mindy Bortz and Michelle Bortz; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Nathan, Zachary Poydence, Marley Whiting, Matthew Acosta, Luke, Cheyenne Wilkerson, Ryder and Kylie Trowbridge; her sister Marilyn Fauntleroy; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Evers, Evelyn Shaffer, Sandy Shaffer and Larue Mumaw. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
