He is survived by: his wife Harriet Hoffman; his children, Judy Baer (Rodney), Ardith Mammay (Michael), Kimberly Weaver (Bill), Paul Smaltz (Kelly), Raymond Smaltz (Wendy) and Heather Halmi (Joshua); his brother Raymond Smaltz (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Elaine Rozanok. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
