He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. Moorhead and Anna M. Moorhead (Hild); his wife Ila Remaley Moorhead; his daughter Ethel Jean Moorhead; and his brothers, Roy and Dale Moorhead.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Chappell (Bob) of New Alexandria and Jim Moorhead (Linda) of Apollo; his grandchildren, Lori Barger (Allen), Rob Chappell, Shelly Chappell and Michael Moorhead; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Alexis Barger, Caileigh Carfang (Jonathan) and Franki Chappell-Vaia; his great great grandchild Lakelynn Carfang; and his siblings, Gerald Moorhead (late Betty) and Doris Sallade (late Don). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home (152 Abbe Pl, Delmont, PA 15626). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
