He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Gilroy, Sr. and Jeanne Gilroy (McCann). He is survived by: his wife Adele Gilroy (Gossner); his sons, William James Gilroy III, Michael Joseph Gilroy (Maria), Kevin Andrew Gilroy (Kelly) and Brian Matthew Gilroy; his grandchildren, Sofia, Olivia, Owen, William IV, Andrew, Theodore and Henry; his siblings, Jeanne Landgraf (James), Mary Gilroy, Loretta Kramer, Eileen Stagliano (Ronald), Elizabeth Thomsen (Darren), Geraldine Fahrenbrook and Patrick Gilroy; and his brother-in-law Christopher Gossner. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donation be made in Bill's name to the Gift of Life (https://www.donors1.org) .
