She is survived by: her children, Karl D. Heitman (Tamiko) of Newtown and Karen H. Lyle (Jerry) of Poquoson, VA.; her brothers, Max and Dale Simmons; her grandchildren, Klaus, Alex (Zhu), Jennifer and Dennis; and her great grandchildren, Peter and Jacob.
