He was predeceased by: his fathers, James Bowman and Patrick West, Sr.; and his brothers, Charlie West, Leo West, William Bowman and Thomas Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice C. West; his daughter Bernice West; his granddaughter Diana Elizabeth; his siblings, Robert Bowman and Nancy Davis (Donald); his goddaughter Jamie Davis; and his niece Donna Davis.
