We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2024, at the age of 88, Martin G. Knappe of Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, born in Flushing, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Knappe and Betty Knappe. He is survived by: his wife Stilla Knappe; his daughters, Ursula Merriman (Mike), Ingrid Washington and Erika Moyer (Rick); his grandchildren, Erik, Maia, Hannah, Eva and Amelia; his sister Irene Kogelmann; his nephew Paul Kogelmann; his nieces, Betsy Whitney (Cyrus) and Linda Doran (Butch); his friend Bill Hennig; and his cousin Armin Lach of Germany.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice in Martin's memory.
