He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hibbs and Anna Hillborn Hibbs; his wife Gail Drews Hibbs; and his son Karl J. Hibbs, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Zanolini of Washington Crossing, I. Aaron Hibbs, Jr. of Yardley and Guy A. Hibbs of Washington Crossing; his daughter-in-law Judith Hibbs of Yardley; and his grandchildren, Jay, Brandy, Shawn, Brittany, Patricia, Julianne, David, Jessica, Karl, Jr. and Nicholas. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
