He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Mick; his parents, George F., Sr. and Katherine Boller Mick; and his siblings, Dorothy Martin, Lorraine Tate and Gerald Mick.

He is survived by: his children, Virginia Bottaro (Richard) and George G. Mick (Annette); his grandchildren, Michael Bottaro (Nicole), Andrew Bottaro (Jill) and Maria Mick; and his great grandchildren, Edward, Brynn, Brooke and Natalie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jerome's Church, 8100 Colfax St. Philadelphia, PA, 19136.
