It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Arlene Risser of Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, born in Manheim, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Hernley Risser; her parents, Ernest Bauman and Grace Snyder Bauman; her daughter-in-law Kathy Risser; and her brothers, Elwood Bauman, Elvin Bauman, Mark Bauman and Luke Bauman.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Risser (Cecelia) of Mt Joy, Jerry Risser of Limerick, Jim Risser (Kay) of Washington Boro, Jeff Risser (Marianne) of Washington Boro, John Risser (Cindy) of Brownstown, Joe Risser (Deb) of Washington Boro, Terry Risser (Judy) of Lancaster, Randy Risser (Shelley) of Oxford, FL and Carol Ann Martin (Dan) of Dalton, OH; her sister Orpha Herr (Dave) of Andover, NY; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Bauman of Manheim. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren.
