He was predeceased by: his father Curvin George; and his daughter Tammy Hake. He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Mitzel of Washington Boro; his children, Michael (Maxine Mitzel) of Columbia, Karen (Terry Karstetter) of Lancaster, Mark (Diana Mitzel) of Columbia and Scott (Cynthia Mitzel) of York; and his siblings, Clara Reider of Dallastown, Phyllis Vogel of Washington Boro and Kenneth Mitzel of York. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
