He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Wadel and Emma Wadel (Shetter); his siblings, Ralph, John, Joseph, Paul, Mark and Gladys Halteman; his son Paul; and his great grandchild Gordon Cormier.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wadel (Blank); his children, Marlin, Denise Wadel (Leaman) of Wolcott, VT, Clair, Susan Wadel (Risser) of Washington Boro, PA, Judith, Rodney Martin of Bridgewater, VA, Daniel Baltozer of Mount Joy, PA, Angel and Debbie Rivera (Babcock) of Lancaster, PA; his daughter-in-law Donna Lois Wadel (Herr) of Washington Boro, PA; and his sister Doris Sollenberger of Waynesboro, PA.. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
