He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Elgart and Ruth Elgart. He is survived by: his wife Linda Elgart; his sons, Jeffrey Elgart (Mark Rotenstreich) and Russell Elgart (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Evan Elgart; and his sister Ellen Elgart.
