He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Thompson (Tebo) and William Thompson; and his stepmother Myrtle "Mickey" Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thompson (Underwood); his children, Patricia T. "Trish" Benz (Peter) of Bedminster Twp, Kimberly A. Thompson of Horsham, PA, Victoria L. Ostertag (Robert) of Perkiomenville, PA and Robert W. Thompson, Jr. (Lisa) of Long Grove, IL; his grandchildren, Lauren, Peter Jr., Christopher, William, Liam, Ryan and Keira; and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Mark.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (606 Arch St, Perkasie, PA 18944). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
