He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Christine Thomas (Greg), Maureen Zack (Brian), Mary Ellen Nash (Jonathan) and Mark J. Murphy (Diana); his grandchildren, Erin, Brendan, Ryan, Mallory, Conor and Maeve; and his sisters, Joanne Meitner (Phil), Kathleen Kaul (Larry) and Mary-Ellen Krajewski (Rick).
