He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carol Jean Hilt; and his children, Linda McCreery (Michael) of Lewis, Hilt, III and Carol Hilt (Tracie). He was also cherished by his 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fluehr Funeral Home (864 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
