She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Garcia; her parents, Valeriano Valer and Victoria Valer (Gomez); and her brother Eulogio Valer. She is survived by: her children, Jose Garcia (Annemarie) of Pelham, NY and Elenore Garcia (Chris Pattillo) of Ambler, PA; her grandchildren, Isabella, Leonardo, Zachary and Xavier; and her siblings, Mercedes Valer DeVela, Aurea Valer Badajoz, Guadalupe Valer Villaran and Juan Valer Gomez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
