He is survived by: his spouse Mary A. Knappenberger; his parent Mabel Knappenberger; his sons, Jonathan (Victoria), David (Virginia) and Peter (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Avery, Lucas, Ella, Julia and Owen.
