He is survived by: his wife Anna Valenti Simpson; his children, Christopher Simpson (Sarah) of Painesville, OH and Cheree Simpson of Warren, PA; his stepchildren, Carol Fox of Cincinnati, OH, Donna Desilets of Dublin and Donald DeVore of Warren, PA; his grandchildren, Jacob, Parker and Janet; his stepgrandchildren, DJ, Donnie and Alexandria; and also Joy Rapp of Florence, Oregon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
