He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Bateman. He is survived by: his father Robert Bateman (Bonnie); his children, Jesse Bateman of Waterford, PA and Kasey Bateman of Russell, PA; his siblings, Scott Bateman of Erie, PA, Virginia Brown of North Carolina and Marty Bateman of Spring Lake, NC; his former wife Virginia Barnes of Erie, PA; his sister-in-law Suzanna Hammell; and his close friend Patrick Parsons.
