He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Smith and Rachel C. Carbaugh Smith; and his brother Thomas R. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Halle Smith; his children, Kimberly Ann Phillips (Denny) of Warren, Kelly Smith, Timothy Chileski of Pittsburgh and Robert Smith of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Britney Salapek (Jesse) of New Hampshire, Todd Landree of Pittsburgh, Makayla Phillips of Warren, Kurtis Walter of Pittsburgh and Kennedy Walter (Joanna Rivero) of Pittsburgh; and his sisters, Susan Arnold (Jim) and Sara Huckabone of Warren.
