He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnard Norman Nelson and Mary Frantz Carlson; and his brothers, William and Terry Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra A. Nelson; his daughter Carrie E. Nelson of Allison Park, PA; his siblings, Judith Crothers, Valerie Schultz (John) and John Scott Nelson (Diane); and his sister-in-law Lisa Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
