He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth F. Knopf and Mary Knopf (O'Neil); his wife Lillian E. Knopf (Charnisky); and his sisters, JoAnna Staybrook and Marie Teconchuk-Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Tina L. Travis (Rory) of Warren, Kenneth J. Knopf (Sherry) of Darien, GA and Michael A. Knopf (Ann) of Mathews, AL.; his grandchildren, Nicole Travis, Katie Travis, Kristen Travis, Rebecca Alexander, Cooper Knopf and Carter Knopf; his close friend Carol A. Spicer of Brookston; and also, Steven Spicer (Robin) of Saybrook, Stephanie Litchenberger (Mark) of Sheffield, Andy Spicer of Marienville, Wayne Spicer (Leajoy) of Warren and Nathan Spicer (Brittany) of Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. (1003 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emanuel United Church of Christ (1710 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 135, 412 Penna.
