He was predeceased by: his parents, Chesley B. Rowan and Mary Louise Rowan (Lawhead); and his nephew Ben Rowan. He is survived by: his wife Christine Rowan (Knopf); his daughter Deidra L. Brown (Chris) of Jamestown, NY; his granddaughters, Harper and Juniper; his brothers, David A. Rowan (Linda) of Christiansburg, VA and William C. Rowan (Teresa) of Warren, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Andy, Grace and Yvonne.
