With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl J. Keeney Sr. of Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Earl departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Earl may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Earl leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Keeney and Ethel Schott Keeney; his wife Dorothy (Wurstner); his brothers, Hugh Keeney and Thomas Keeney; and his great grandchild Brandon Zurkan.
He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Catalino (Tony) of Angola, NY; and his children, Earl Jr. Keeney (Thalia) of Warren, Debi Wert (Gary) of Warren, Ron Keeney (Becca) of Jamestown, NY and Dale Keeney (Diane) of Russell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Warren YMCA.
