She was predeceased by: her father Delmore Nelson; her grandsons, Kyle Seleni and Justin Smith; her siblings, Robert Nelson and Marjorie Larson; and her daughter-in-law Kristine Smith.
She is survived by: her mother Edith Hornstrom Nelson; her husband Richard Elton Smith Sr.; and her children, Richard E. Smith (Diane) of Warren, Debra Seleni (Jerry) of Tupper Lake, NY and Dani Smith of Warren. She is also survived by four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
