With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burdett Eugene Ristau of Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jane Ristau Jones; his daughter Wendy Nelsen; his brother Myron; his brother-in-law Franklin Ristau; his nephew Terry Ristau; and his great-nephew Jacob Ristau.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Cable Ristau; his children, Tammy Ristau and Todd Ristau (Carie); his son-in-law John Nelsen (Jenn); his grandchildren, Jonathan Nelsen (Desirae) and Brionna Childs (Noah Colvin); his great grandchildren, Wesley and Sonny Nelsen; his brothers, Lorian Jones (Erika), Dennis Jones (Darlene) and Samuel Jones (Peggy); and his uncle Richard Ristau (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Warren County, the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, or a charity of choice.
