She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul F. Mathis and Geraldine Mathis (Pang); and her husband Kent Petersen. She is survived by: her children, Dane (Becky) of Warren, PA and Kara Winiarz (Jeff) of Rolla, MO; her siblings, James Mathis (Dianne) of Queensbury, NY and Nancy Cogswell (Dennis) of Henrico, VA; and her friends, Beth and David MacPherson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
