He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Essig, Jr. and Dorothy Essig Tudgay; and his sister Dorothy Pohl. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Essig; his daughters, Melinda Essig and Danielle Essig Candy (Bill); his grandchildren, Ryan Essig Candy (Colleen O'Malley), Alison Essig Candy and Courtney Essig Candy; and his nephews, Kenn Essig (Saree Essig) and Walt Pohl (Megan Payne).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Decker-Givnish Funeral Home (216 York Rd, Warminster, PA 18974). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
