She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smythe and Marguerite Smythe (Gallaghue); and her husband Clyde J. Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Krisak (Thomas) of Buckingham, Kathleen Paskill (James) of Maple Glen and Therese Carter (Jose Garcia) of Chalfont; her grandchildren, Julian Krisak, Blake Paskill, Arianna and Austin Garcia; her sister Elizabeth Zencak of West Chester; her brother-in-law Jack Schorr of Seminole, Florida.; and her friends, Catherine Edwards (Cass) and Cass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Nativity of Our Lord Church in Therese's memory.
