It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Robertson of Warminster, Pennsylvania, born in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Lamplugh Young and Richard Thomas Young, Sr.; her husband Roy; her son Samuel; her former husband James Robertson; and her siblings, Richard Young, Jr. and Elizabeth Robinson (Betty).
She is survived by: her brother William Thomas Young of Huntsville; her son James; her daughter-in-law Sandra Cottrell of Doylestown, PA; her daughter Bonnie Cottrell Kelly of Iowa; and her grandchildren, Heather Thomsen (Cottrell) of Harleysville, PA, Holly Roscoe (Cottrell) of Doylestown, PA, Megan Robinson (Cottrell) of Mullica Hill, NJ, Scott and Dan Kelly of Iowa. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 Ruth's graveside services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are requested to be made in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406 in honor of her great grandson, Braydon Cole Robinson.
