He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Snyder Worked (William) and Had; his grandchildren, Ashton, Justine, Anna and Alex; and his great grandchild Xavier.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Billek of New Geneva, PA; and his sons, Bill Bitters and Brian Bitters (Lorie).
