She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas P. Burns and Marguerite Burns (Maher); her husband John; her siblings, Helen Jackson and William Burns; and her grandson Jack Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Higgins (Barry Simon), John (Linda), Stephen (Lily), David (Beth), Matthew (Tracie), Joseph (Allison) and Patricia Oliver (T. O.); and her sister Joan Mackin. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and three (soon to be four) great grandchildren.
