He was predeceased by: his parents, Professor Harold H. and Lillian Fagan; and his siblings, Cpt. Harold Fagan, Mary Pickett (John), Eileen Chahrouri (Sami), Nancy Costello (Martin) and Virginia Harrington (Edward).

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Fagan; and his son Joseph Paul Fagan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
