He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Scarpill and Mabel Wood Scarpill; his siblings, Louis (Clara), Charles, Jule and Mabel Cornell (Alvin); and his brothers-in-law, Arnold Haverstraw and Wilson Battis.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Gradwell Scarpill; his sisters, Dorothy Haverstraw and Lillian Battis; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Scarpill and Phyllis Scarpill.
