He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Merril and Lucile Bernice Bryan; his wife Terry; and his brothers, George (Mary Lou) and Fred (Jeanetta).

He is survived by: his brother Dick; his sons, Jason (Terri) and Brandon (Cindy); his grandchildren, Amanda, Devon, Alex, Chelsea, Krystal and Marlina; and his great grandchildren, Caleb and Julian.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Ann's Choice Benevolent Fund.
